Shane Sweeney

I began my retail career way back during the madness that was Juicy Couture and what started as a side job turned into a career that I have not looked back on! From there I worked in Merchandising and Sales at Saks Fifth Avenue as well as Public Relations and Events at Neiman Marcus before ultimately turning to management. After 4 years as the Assistant Store Manager of Vince in Philadelphia, I made the move to Chicago to take on Vince’s Midwest Flagship as the Store Director. Wanting more multi-unit experience, I made the move to Rowan, an ear piercing and Jewelry company and worked with them to grow their footprint in the Midwest from 3 to 15+ studios over 5 states.

I love learning anything new so I am excited to work with my Directors as well as Wax Specialists to understand their business so I can help them get to the next level. The connection to the community here is strong and that’s what sets us apart from everyone else so I am excited to continue that with this team. I learned very early on to lead with empathy, accountability and respect to ensure trust and open communication throughout the teams. Without this there is no chance of achieving our goals and that is what we are all striving for.
